Meggitt Valves
Meggitt is a manufacturer of reliable and accurate electrically operated control valves for gas turbines.
In 2018 CMA was appointed as the Meggitt authorised Repair and Overhaul facility for Australia and New Zealand. To achieve this our technicians underwent extensive training at Meggitt’s facility in San Diego, California and our workshop has been inspected by Meggitt and been certified to test and repair Meggitt valves. Our repairs and testing are carried out to the same standards and have the same warranty as the OEM factory repair.
CMA was also appointed the exclusive reseller of Meggitt valves for Australia and New Zealand. Please contact us for spare Meggitt valves or for spare parts for Meggitt valves.
Bleed Air Valves
All sizes of these valves have been successfully qualified at extreme conditions, including 60,000 endurance cycles and 1,000,000 dither cycles. The valves were also tested completing 16,000 hours of engine operating 24/7 as a load follower.
These valves offer a reduced pressure drop with an increased flow. An increased shaft diameter is also allowed for high strength, as well as a design to eliminate hysteresis and increase reliability. The Meggitt bleed valve is a direct replacement of the original Honeywell valve which is no longer sold or repaired. The Meggitt bleed valve is now original equipment as per GE service bulletin LM6000-IND-0326 and LM2500-IND-0283.
Metering Valves
Used for the gas turbines throttle control. Accurate and consistent fuel metering vital to the turbines efficiency and reliability.
The sleeve and globe style valves deliver 100 millisecond full stroke response time.
Designed to give precision electric fuel metering for Aero-Derivative and Heavy Duty type gas turbines.
Meggitt offers the highest possible accuracy and increased precision for gas fuel and liquid fuel metering, to ensure improved NOx and CO levels and decreased fuel consumption.
Staging Valves
These valves play an important part, being the last fuel stop in the gas line. Their main role is to provide fuel in several steps and several fuel rings into the combustor.
Accuracy for timing of the valves is crucial in operation in order to prevent unwanted engine trips during turbine start up.
CDP Purge & Vent Valves
These valves are used for procedures involving fuel purging and load shedding, offering reliability, speed and precision.
CMA can also provide site service technicians to assist with trouble shooting and on site maintenance.
