Mechanical Design of Hydraulically powered machines

CMA has designed many pieces of mechanical equipment and machines that are powered hydraulically and controlled electronically. Our in house skills in all these areas have allowed us to not only design and build new machines but also undertake upgrade old equipment. Old structures tend to be quite sound and by installing new hydraulics and electronics best practice performance can often be achieved at a much lower cost than complete new machines.

An example of this is the Longwall Roof Support Cylinder Stripping rig that we built for Joy Mining.
